New Cessna fiberglass main wheel
fairing 1967 through 1970 to maintain stock aircraft appearance.

Inner fairing covers the brake and the
spring axle bolt attachment. This fairing fits Cleveland brakes
mounted forward.

Outer fairings close the major portion
of the opening around the tire and contains a plug button for tire
servicing.

Landing gear spring is covered with
clamshell contoured fiberglass fairings top and bottom. These are
bonded to the spring and form streamlined airfoil shape around the
spring. A new high strength aluminum streamlined step is an
important part of the upper fairing.

The airflow separation and air
scooping caused by the stock step; flat spring, brakes and large
holes around the tire are eliminated with this installation.
